Admiralty Arch Hotel

Opens 31st January 2022

Admiralty Arch Hotel Opens 31st January 2022 Admiralty Arch is due to open as a Waldorf Astoria hotel by 2022. Admiralty Arch, the ceremonial archway built as a memorial to Queen Victoria in 1911, will be turned into a five star hotel to be designed by fashion house Armani, it was revealed in February 2013. Luxury will be the overriding theme as not only are Armani involved but the owner, Spanish property developer Rafael Serrano, is also the man behind the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, where rooms cost from £850 a night. The 147,300 square foot grade I listed building will be transformed into 100 guestrooms, a ballroom, spa and a fine dining restaurant which will be open to the public. The Portland stone gateway, which links Trafalgar Square with Buckingham Palace via The Mall, occupies a prime London location, not only putting its guests in the heart of the city but also giving them a wonderful view of the annual ceremonial parades which pass by the arch on their way to the Queen's London residence. It's great to see a well-loved but now disused London landmark getting a new lease of life and multi-million pound restoration sensitive to the designs of its original architect, Sir Aston Webb. 2022/01/31 Where:
