Visitor Information
John Wesley's House is part of the Wesley's Chapel site which also includes the Museum of Methodism in the crypt of the chapel. The museum traces the history of Methodism from the 18th century to the present day. The house was built by John Wesley and is where he lived the last days of his life. It contains much memorabilia relating to John Wesley as well as his personal library. Wesley's tomb is at the rear of the chapel which was built in 1778 and is considered to be the cathedral of Methodism.
