Visitor Information
Blythe House is where the V & A's collection of objects in storage are housed including furniture, ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, fashion and fine arts. Previously the headquarters of the Post Office Savings Bank in Olympia the cavernous space is now home to musuem quality archive material, all of which can be viewed, by appointment only, in the Blythe House Reading Room. Anyone can apply for a Reader Ticket, free of charge, and they are valid
for three years however an appointment is essential, early booking and at least one week's notice are advised.
