Not far north of Television Centre , White City Place - previously known as the Media Centre - used to be home to the BBC who moved out in 2015. Two years later it reopened, welcoming new businesses like Yoox Net-A-Porter, ITV Studios and the Royal College of Art. The grassy space in the middle of White City Place is surrounded by shops, restaurants, offices and homes with the area hosting the graduate exhibition of the Royal College of Art in summer 2018. Restaurants on site include the 300-seat Feast Bar & Kitchen, Greek restaurant The Athenian, New-York style Pizza Street, Italian food from Coco di Mama, American bakery Butterscotch , Herman ze German and WAKA, a 'grab-and-go' Nikkei restaurant, as well as Wellbourne Brasserie and Shola, all of which can be found in the WestWorks building . Oliver Bonas and Nurture are among the shops while Huckletree, which already has offices in Clerkenwell and Shoreditch, offers a co-working space for freelance and tech entrepreneurs with a creche and childcare as part of the package.
