Venue hire at Fan Museum

Hire this venue for your own event - it has one function room which can hold a maximum of 30 guests.

This unique museum houses the world's finest collection of over 5,000 fans including exquisite examples from the 18th and 19th centuries. The Fan Museum is housed in a beautifully restored 1721 building which provides a superb and elegant setting for the exhibits. Visitors can also take tea in the spectacular orangery with much-admired mural, overlooking the landscaped Japanese-style garden. Enjoy a pot of tea or cafetiere of coffee, carrot cake, lemon drizzle cake or salted caramel brownie and a scone with clotted cream and jam. In the museum, in addition to the permanent collection, which includes designs by Paul Gauguin and Walter Sickert, temporary exhibitions are arranged approximately every four months. Leave time to explore the fascinating gift shop which has everything from hand painted fans to perfume bottles and fan-shaped soaps.
