Overlooking the Olympic Stadium, Aquatics Centre, Orbit and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, The International Quarter (TIQ) is an entirely new commercial district in Stratford City. The 22-acre site includes four million square feet of new office space, 275,000 sq ft of hotel provision, 350 new homes, over 52,000 sq ft of shops and restaurants, all set within surrounding parkland. TIQ's vision is "to establish a new metropolitan business district for London that is thriving, sustainable, successful and inclusive". It also claims to be Europe's most exciting new office development. The site will be split into two different locations - TIQ North (above Stratford International Station) and TIQ South (between the Westfield Shopping Centre and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park).
