A collaborative project from one of the 50 best, thrice Michelin starred Valencian chef Quique Dacosta and his London team, Arros QD showcases Quique's distinctive modern style of cooking. The focus is on rice, a food that doesn't typically get star status at high end restaurants, but this is a man who has written the book on the subject - see his Arroces Contemporaneos. All of the rice dishes are designed to share and there's even an immersive chef's paella counter. Here the rice dish made with really good quality Spanish ingredients - Paella Valenciana, for example, is made with rabbit chop, chicken and butter beans. Described as a "culinary genius" by the Michelin men, the self-taught chef was awarded three stars for his Quique Dacosta restaurant in Denia and one Michelin star at El Poblet in Valencia. W ith four distinct areas, the main space showcases an open kitchen where you can see the chefs cooking over the wood fired flame grill.
