Serving superior Spanish food and with an outdoor terrace overlooking the marina, Bravas Tapas is a welcome new addition to St Katharine Dock. Brought to you by restaurateur Bal Thind - who invested in successful London restaurants Hakkasan, Yauatcha and Busaba - Victor Garvey is the chef. Garvey has worked at some of the best restaurants in the Basque country, including Mugaritz and Akelarre, and had his own restaurant, Acacia, on the beach of Puerto Banus, Marbella. All the dishes on the menu at the London restaurant are tapas dishes like tapas croquetas, chipirones (tiny squid) and patatas bravas. To drink, George Matzaridis, previously at Hakkasan, has created Spanish-themed cocktails and there are Spanish wines, sangrias, sherry and craft beers.
