The brainchild of Crouch End residents Ali Mehmet and Bob Stamegna, Burgers@N8 not only aims to give diners the best burgers and beer in the area, it's also a force for good, boosting the local Haringey area by donating at least 10 per cent of takings to local charities and projects. A hub for families, professionals, kids and businesses, the burger oasis is made from four shipping containers and has a stylish design and interior. The menu makes the most of local suppliers with a ll ingredients sourced from - and in some cases created specially by - local businesses including Muddy Boots, Dunns Bakery, Broadway Fruiters, The Haelen Centre, Rileys Ice Cream, Redemption Brewery, Jeffries Vintage Drinks, Square Root London, Camden Brewery and The Good Grain Company. Not only that, all of the net profits from the sale of The Wilde Cheesecake go to a local outreach scheme which take unemployed young people off the streets and gives them the tools to start a career in catering.
