Over a decade after their first restaurant the team behind contemporary Japanese restaurant Dinings in Marylebone launch a second London restaurant, Dinings SW3. In a mews off Walton Street, the South Kensington restaurant includes a sushi counter, a mezzanine level which doubles as private dining and a hidden courtyard with space for up to 20; perfect for the warmer months. Specialising in an Izakaya style of cooking, the food here combines Japanese and European cuisines to create delicious small plates. Sushi and sashimi change with the seasons to make the most of the freshest seafood from Cornish day boats. Order the 'Plateu de Fruits de Mer' and you'll be presented with artfully displayed sushi, sashimi and raw seafood to share. Enjoy robata style dishes including Scottish lobster with yuzu kimizu sauce and Dover sole with butter soy and wasabi salsa in the light-filled restaurant, originally built as an artist's studio.
