Occupying a prime spot overlooking St Katharine Docks, Dokke, named after the medieval word for docking a boat, is Neil Wager's high-end cafe by day, chic restaurant by night. With 27 years of experience cooking in some of the world's best hotels and restaurants, from Quaglino's in London to luxury resorts in the Seychelles, the chef brings his global culinary experience to London. Cooking in a clean, healthy style using flavours from around the world, dishes include Khmer style rice porridge, served from early morning until 2pm, and pork belly with c hocolate miso, kohlrabi and smoked apple later in the evening. Mid century furniture, polished concrete tops, walnut flooring, copper, leather and teal give the space warmth and sophistication. The addition of an open kitchen island puts up few boundaries between the chefs and guests.
