All the fish served in the Fish Market restaurant is sustainable, serving a wide selection of fish and shellfish sourced from the British Isles. Classic English dishes such as winkles and whelks, native lobster cocktail, and beer battered fish and chips with mushy peas are on offer along with the daily catch written up on the blackboard. Open daily from 7am (excluding Sundays), you can start your day with kedgeree or grilled kippers. Lunch lends itself to sitting at the crustacea bar and enjoying a seafood platter while sipping on something crisp and white from their extensive selection of English wines. Or, if weather permits, enjoying an al fresco meal on the outside terrace. Using exposed brick, white walls and turquoise ceiling, D&D London have recreated "the bustling atmosphere of a simple fish restaurant in an English seaside town" which lends itself to a more casual style of dining. Fish Market occupies the ground floor of the beautiful Old Bengal Warehouse, a vast Georgian warehouse which has four food and drink outlets including the New Street Grill, a modern British grill restaurant, Bengal Cocktail Bar and a specialist Wine Shop.
