Combining an in-house fish counter with a seafood restaurant and private dining room, FishWorks puts together an appealing package especially for pescatarians. The fresh fish counter stands at the entrance to the restaurant and boasts the the morning's catch from the south coast as well as crustacea and shellfish. The fishmonger will happily give advice and recipes while he expertly fillets and prepares your catch to take home. Eat in the restaurant and you'll dine on simply cooked day boat Dover sole and lobster surrounded by nautically inspired copper 'fish-scales', soft blues, greys and white tiles with fish motifs. Classic fish and chips are given a luxe touch with monkfish while low hanging rope-effect lighting takes inspiration from the cabins of traditional fishing boats. Running along the main dining area is the oyster bar, fully fitted with built-in ice trays and piled high with freshly shucked oysters - a dozen bivalves and a chilled glass of champagne for the perfect light lunch. Descend the spiralled staircase down to The Cove for private dining for up to 40 people.
