Sisters Jasmine and Melissa are the famous siblings behind Hemsley + Hemsley who together have built a successful business on healthy eating. Originally a bespoke catering service for private clients, they were soon catering for high-profile events for brands like Chanel, Vivienne Westwood and Louis Vuitton and now they have a cafe in Selfridges . Raised on their mum's old-fashioned home-cooking - an odd combination of traditional Filipino cuisine and classic English dishes - their recipes are free from gluten, grains, refined sugar and hydrogenated vegetable oils. Big fans of meat or fish and two vegetables, their ethos is all about enjoying all the natural fats that come with our food, including quality dairy. Avoiding refined carbohydrates like pasta and noodles, these are replaced with more nutritious wholefoods like quinoa and buckwheat as well as nuts and seeds, vegetables, beans and lentils at the third floor cafe.
