A firm favourite on London's ever-growing burger scene, Honest Burgers now has an outlet in Liverpool Street, open from late 2014. With other branches in Soho, Camden, King's Cross and Brixton - where the original was opened back in 2011 - the no-frills chain from Tom Barton and Phil Eles specialises in top quality hamburgers and chips made with all British produce and meat supplied by the Ginger Pig. The menu is simple but well executed, with a handful of beef burgers, a chicken burger and a veggie burger available, as well as regular specials and sides such as rosemary salted chips and onion rings. Plus, this location is branching out with a breakfast offering, serving a range of muffins, coffee and, for an indulgent start to the morning, rosti chips. Takeaway is available but there is no booking - expect to queue at peak times.
