Koya-Ko opens August 2013.
A sister restaurant to Koya next door, Koya-Ko is from the same team and the food served is testament to their affection for the noodle. Even smaller than the original - the site is just 800 square feet - Koya-Ko has seating for just 25 but we suspect that won't put people off. Winner of the Observer Food Monthly Cheap Eats in 2011 and runner up in 2012, Koya made its name with classic udon dishes. "But it's the superb daily specials and small plates that make it more than just a noodle bar. Plenty for non-noodle fans, too" the Observer judges noted.
