Set up by former Pop Brixton Marketing Director Valentina Fois, Lele's is a vegan café in Clapton, Hackney. Starting out as a vegetarian café, the venue made the move into being fully vegan in 2017 and today serves a nutritious menu of fresh healthy dishes created using locally sourced ingredients. Start the day with buckwheat pancakes topped with maple syrup, fresh strawberries and toasted almond flakes and stop by for a lunch of giant couscous salad or a nourish bowl featuring garlic mushrooms, scrambled tofu and avocado. In the evening there's slow-cooked Bolognese, pistachio pesto pasta and beyond meat burgers while desserts include hot chocolate brownie and tiramisu. Coffee is also taken very seriously, and vegan afternoon tea is served once a month.
