Borgo Egnazia, a luxury 5 star hotel set within 20 hectares on the coast of Puglia in the heel of Italy, is behind Li Veli Winery and Bistro in Covent Garden. A cafe, bar, bistro and wine shop in one, the space spans an impressive 200 square metres across two levels. The bistro side seats 36 and serves traditional Apulian dishes, straight from the recipe book of Borgo Egnazia. Italian entrepreneurs Aldo Melpignano (Managing Director of San Domenico Hotels who owns Borgo Egnazia) and Alfredo Falvo (who together with his father Alberto and siblings Edoardo, Alessia and Giovanni own and run the 128-acre winery Masseria Li Veli) have joined forces to bring the flavours of Puglia to London.
