Serving sunny Mediterranean food in their all-day cafes since 2002, when the first Megan's opened on the Kings Road, a seventh branch of the independently owned cafes launches on the corner of Kensington High Street and Phillimore Gardens. Here at Megan's on the High Street there's a great events space, the lounge, which hosts a fun diary of supper clubs, Sunday Night Movie Nights and other weekly shindigs. Brunch, served until 4.30pm, includes favourites like Eggs Benedict and smashed avo on toast. Lunch and dinner, available to eat in or takeaway, features flatbreads and sourdough toasties, salads, tortillas and 'posh' kebabs. A welcoming all-day affair, they have dog bowls, treats and even dog beds, children get free babyccinos and a kiddy menu, colouring sheets and crayons plus there's free wifi and plenty of plug points. Both the lounge and the main restaurant are available for private hire and parties, with overnight braised lamb shoulder, garlic tiger prawns and short rib of beef on the sharing menu.
