Megan's, the dog friendly restaurants popular with the Made in Chelsea tribe, continues its ever expanding march with this cafe at the old Sorting Office in Islington Square. Like the original restaurant, which opened in 2002 on the Kings Road, Megan's at the Sorting Office sets the scene for a romantic meal with fairy lights and "filthily delicious food" (Time Out). Frequently voted 'best brunch', which is available until 5pm, the Mediterranean influenced menu includes avocado on toast, baked eggs shakshouka, the famous 'posh' lamb doner kebab and cokertme Turkish steak and chips. At lunch, they have a deli bar, to eat in or takeaway, laden with flatbreads, toasties, salads and more. If you pop by between 4pm and 5pm on weekdays, they offer half price on the deli bar as they hate seeing their fresh daily-made salads go to waste. Offering a warm welcome to dogs, the restaurant lays out bowls, treats dog beds for your four legged friend. The laid back approach extends to children and freelance workers too, offering babyccinos for free and colouring sheets as well as free wifi and plenty of plug points.
