Located in the Qbic hotel in Whitechapel, Motley is an all-day bar and restaurant which offers weekend brunch with live music and a DIY bottomless mimosa buffet. With its Waste Not menu, it turns unwanted food into delightful dishes. The veggie-focussed menu includes ugly roasted vegetable salad and Billy Goat Dhansak curry made using produce that would have otherwise been discarded. Off cuts and imperfect fruit and veg are used to create appetising dishes like fritto misto, made with fried fish trimmings, and a vegan sweet corn fritter burger served in a warm bun with pickled slaw and chickpea habanero aioli, plated with sweet potato fries.
