Forget finger sandwiches and scones - when you have Not Afternoon Tea at the Oxo Tower, you get a tasting plate of four indulgent desserts accompanied by a cocktail. These unique experiences - and there are four to choose from - are perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth and love of cocktails. The options change each season, so in summer you'll find an Ice Ice Baby plate, featuring a passionfruit ice lolly and banana cone, or the Summer Flowers plate, dedicated to the flowers of the summer. With a nod to its neighbours - Shakespeare's Globe, the Old Vic and the National Theatre - you can also opt for a theatrical version of the alternative tea. The first act is a sour cherry and bergamot-filled skull and a goblet of Hamlet's poison. Next, a quartet of cakes, each representing a famous show, is paired with a complimentary cocktail. Before the final curtain call, there's a beautiful homemade gingerbread biscuit, but you'll have to guess which smash hit it represents. Served in the Oxo Tower Brasserie this dining experience boasts one of the best views in town.
