DIY is de rigueur at Olle, a Korean BBQ restaurant in Chinatown. You, the diner, become chef for the night, cooking fresh cuts of meat and seafood on a table top BBQ grill. Order Japanese and American wagyu beef or Iberico pork, marinated in traditional Korean sauces if that's they way you like, before sizzling it on the hotplate. As well as premium meats and seafood, the menu offers traditional dishes such as Korean Jjigae (stew), cooked in a stone pot. It's the brainchild of owner Charles Seo who came to London from South Korea almost two decades ago, and in 2009 he opened Japanese restaurant Kyoto Soho. With Olle, he returns to his first love of his home country's cuisine - even the drinks menu lists Korean beers alongside wine and soft drinks.
