After two successful years serving their signature superfast Roman-style thin and crispy pizza to the Spitalfields crown, Pizza Union comes to King's Cross, with their second Pizza Bar. Popular with a young crowd, who come for the fast service, trendy surrounds, and vibing soundtrack, the pizza is made fresh and fire-baked in 3 minutes in a huge traditional domed stone pizza oven, which claims to be "the largest in the UK". The 100 cover King's Cross site replicates the popular all-day format of the first Pizza Bar, where diners enjoy their pizzas along with a choice of salads, dolce, gelato, wines, prosecco, beers, soft drinks and coffee. The interior design, with its trendy urban industrial feel, long communal tables and exposed original brickwork and tiles, appeals to a young crowd who serve themselves - there are no waiters here; you simply pay for your pizza and pick it up when your bright red flashing buzzer lets you know your food is ready.
