There are two options when it comes to tea at the super cool St Martins Lane. Cosy up in The Den for an afternoon of sweet and savoury treats, or sip on tea-infused cocktails at their Sundown Afternoon Tea. Taking both the 'afternoon' and the 'tea' out of the experience, this version replaces them with late-night cocktails and cake. There are savoury bites too in the form of fig bread with smoked applewood and focaccia with garlic, rosemary and prosciutto. Sweet treats come in the shape of chocolate hazelnut dacquoise with chocolate glaze dusted with almonds and a Bakewell tart with raspberry rose mousse, topped with a fresh raspberry and edible flowers. Cocktails include the fairytale Once Upon A Time, made with herbal-infused old tom gin, elderflower, chamomile and honey syrup, and the Meet Me In The Middle cocktail, containing koko kanu rum, apple, peppermint tea and ginger syrup.
