In time for its 50th birthday celebration in 2015, The Brass Rail in Selfridges - said to serve the best salt beef in London - gets a makeover and expanded menu. Located in the Foodhall on the ground floor, The Brass Rail has its first ever breakfast menu with dishes including crisp salt beef potato hash, alongside old favourites like The Classic Salt Beef and Reuben - 200g of succulent salt beef, sauerkraut, gherkins, melted Swiss cheese. Feeling hungry? Try the Bialy Roll, a towering pulled hot salt beef sandwich with melted Swiss cheese, gherkin, gem lettuce and relish. The revamped Brass Rail includes a dedicated coffee bar with blends exclusive to Selfridges provided by the Mierisch family in Nicaragua, making this a route-one for coffee connoisseurs.
