Before you lift off, stop off at The Commission bar and restaurant airside at Heathrow Terminal 4, split into the study, lounge, kitchen and dining room. Brought to you by Drake & Morgan who have 10 bars and restaurants across London - The Refinery, The Parlour, and four City sites - early flyers can refuel with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or avocado on sourdough with chilli and poached egg for breakfast. Catering for everyone from the health conscious traveller to kids, there are fresh juices with chia seeds and a dedicated children's menu - including a main, dessert and drink. Sharing plates on the all-day menu include crispy squid with lemon mayonnaise, crispy duck flatbread with cucumber, spring onion and hoisin, and mezze board with bulgur wheat salad, houmous and baba ghanoush. Along with salads and sandwiches there are more substantial mains such as haddock and chips, pea and lemon risotto with mascarpone and bangers and mash with red onion gravy. Toast your travels with a gin-based London Spritz or Summer Cup Spritz, a blend of Sipsmith Summer Cup, prosecco, apricot and lemon.
