Bringing a slice of the country to London, The Shed is a relaxed and rustic restaurant that specialises in experimental and seasonal dishes. Created by brothers Oliver and Richard Gladwin, the restaurant is an extension of the rural lifestyle that they enjoy in West Sussex and the interior of reclaimed furniture, exposed brickwork, candles and farm equipment can all be credited to their hand selection. The daily changing menu uses ingredients sourced from Sussex and other local producers and emphasises the seasonal and the foraged. Chef Oliver Gladwin transforms the ingredients into unique dishes with his signature 'flair cookery', a method that sees him invent spontaneous plates of food from produce that is readily available. Diners can expect to enjoy options such as rock oysters, rabbit ravioli, fennel seed salami and hotsmoked pheasant. The restaurant also houses a Butcher's Table which is used for both cooking demonstrations and bespoke dinner parties of up to 14 guests.
