One of London's oldest pubs, The Spread Eagle in Homerton focuses on premium liquor, fine food and good vibes. Partnering with vegan street food specialists Club Mexicana, the pub was given a very modern twist in 2018 by becoming London's first 100% vegan pub. Founder of Club Mexicana, Meriel Armitage, brings her cult Mexican inspired dishes to the venue, including jackfruit, Baja tofish, beef barbacoa and pork al pastor tacos as well as beer battered tofish and chips, Mexican friend Chick"n torta and a deep fried taco dipped in chocolate, rolled in nuts and stuffed with ice cream. There's also 16 tap vegan beers, a vegan wine list and a vegan cocktail menu.
