Handmade pizza cooked from scratch and cider sourced from the West Country are the two things The Stable does, and it does them well. Owners Nikki and Richard Cooper set up their Stable restaurants in Dorset and now have more than a dozen branches across the UK from Birmingham to Bridport. For their first London location, they've taken over a former nightclub on Whitechapel Road, and just as they do in their other restaurants, they've named some of their pizzas after local historical figures and locations. With long communal tables, the place has a casual air. Order at the bar and enjoy the pizza, pints plus regular music nights, and the popular Tuck In Tuesday - with selected pizzas, side salad and a drink for ten of your English pounds.
