Chancery Lane coffee shop The Watch House becomes, from 5pm each evening, a cosy wine and cocktail bar serving modern European tapas-style dishes. From 7am coffee, roasted exclusively in Shoreditch for The Watch House by Ozone, is served at this 30-cover Fetter Lane cafe along with eggs Benedict made using orange marmalade marinade. Handmade sandwiches, baguettes, and salads, as well as a selection of hot options and brunch board specials, prepared daily, are also among the options which include tasty goodies from Fatties Bakery, Mork Hot Chocolate, The Sweet Tooth Factory and Knead Bakery. The third in a mini chain, this Fetter Lane coffee shop has sister sites on Bermondsey Street and at Tower Bridge, both housed in buildings with a history, their original features maintained and mixed with modern elements, chosen by founder Roland Horne whose previous career was in architectural design.
