Sunday hangover cure, burger of the month and icelandic Viking beer are top of the list of Sunday achievements list on a lazy Sunday on the King's Road, courtesy of Tommi's Burger Joint, the burger outlet by restaurateur Tomas 'Tommi' Tomasson. Tommi's has already built up a loyal following with its restaurant on Marylebone Lane so it's great news they're opening a second outlet in Chelsea. The informal, vintage feel to the interior mirrors the decor of the original London site on Thayer Street. The menu reflects a consciously back-to-basics vibe, with just a few burgers, sodas and shakes available. Patties are made with top quality chunky mince, served in a soft bun with red onion and salad while fries are skinny, crunchy and salty. The King's Road restaurant adds a special Icelandic beer, Viking, to the drinks menu alongside a selection of wine and regular beers, and home-made milkshakes created with Icelandic ice-cream.
