Brazilian-inspired cocktail bar and cantina Barrio Brixton serves tapas-style food, plus late night club with DJs. Taking its name from the Spanish for district or neighbourhood, it's a term also used in North America to refer to the Hispanic ghettos such as El Barrio in East Harlem, New York City. Barrio Brixton, the fourth in a mini chain of Barrio bars, means they have the city covered with Barrio North in Islington, Barrio Central in Soho and Barrio East in Shoreditch. From tequilas and mezcals, to piscos and cachacas, all the Brazilian cocktails are covered and there's plenty to please craft beer lovers too. Located on Acre Lane, the ground floor 200 capacity venue has an outdoor space and features Barrio's fun, colourful interiors including the now-signature vintage caravan. Open 7 days a week and until 2am at the weekends, Barrio's cantina, cocktails and entertainment give Brixton a fun pace to drink, relax and party.
