Visitor Information
The National Theatre Studio is home to the National Theatre's Archive, open to anyone with an interest in the theatre's history. The archive includes every stage managers' reports for every single night's performance at the
National Theatre since 22nd October 1963 when the theatre first opened. Visitors to the archive have access to a wide range of materials for research purposes from set models and costume drawings, to video and sound recordings of past productions. Music scores, posters, programmes, and press reviews are also held within this important archive.
