Visitor Information
Established in 1991, The Architecture Foundation is a non-profit agency for contemporary architecture whose programme of events and exhibitions promotes its core belief that architecture enriches lives. From its Carmody Groarke-designed headquarters in Southwark, the foundation cultivates new talent and ideas through a programme of lectures, debates, film screenings, awards, commissions and competitions. Education projects encouraging young people studying the built environment and a wide range of other projects including the London Festival of Architecture are also part of the activities that the foundation organises. The publicly accessible building is open every day, from 12noon to 6pm, during The London Design Festival, and from Tuesday to Saturday 12noon to 6pm for exhibitions throughout the year.
