It's not all music hall these days down in the East End. This multi-arts centre on the Isle of Dogs gives the locals a chance to enjoy a huge range of performance including theatre, classical music, dance, gigs, workshops and even its very own comedy club.
Housed inside a lovingly converted 19th century church complete with original stained-glass and a Steinway grand, The Space is a really pleasant, unique venue. Feeling peckish - pop inside the cosy confines of the Hubbub Cafe to sample their frilly modern European menu.
As well as putting on a rich range of their own events The Space is avaible for hire.
