Visitor Information
The Utrophia project space gives artists, musicians and filmmakers the chance to get together and gives them the space to present their works to the public. Anyone can submit work for the monthly events, be it video work, new media or audio work for DJ sets or for live slots. And pretty much anything goes - from films to live music and marching bands. Very much a local community project, the streets of Deptford regularly offer inspiration, however its reach goes far beyond. Ben Cummins, for example, was asked to perform his 'Orange Jumper White Glove' piece at the Erik Dietman private view at Anthony Reynolds Gallery. This is a place where paintings and performance converge, and installations give mundane objects like cash machines the red carpet treatment.
