Open fireplaces and clever of use natural materials like stone and wood help make Middle Eight both welcoming and luxurious. The lifestyle luxury hotel on Covent Garden's Great Queen Street has 180 rooms, including 12 suites, and several places to eat and drink. The main restaurant, Sycamore Vino Cucina, invites guests and visitors to mingle throughout the day with its all-day menu of Italian and Californian dishes. Over the bar are hundreds of burnished leaves - just one of the many motifs dotted around that hotel that are inspired by the elements. Overlooking both is The Balcony, a relaxing haven serving an all-day, globally inspired menu in a tranquil setting, ideal for those seeking a little more seclusion. Downstairs is QT, a space with a central stage for live performances by comedians, musicians and singers as well as screenings. With its own street entrance and something different every night of the week, this is a destination in its own right and the perfect space to hire for exclusive events. Part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Middle Eight is owned and operated by Shiva Hotels, the group which is also behind The Guardsman, another luxury boutique hotel opening in 2020.
