Queen's Park is a 12 hectare park near Kensal Rise providing a welcome splash of green to the public since 1887. Facilities include six all-weather tennis courts, a pitch and putt course, a petanque pitch, an ornamental garden, a children's playground with paddling pool, a small zoo and the Park Cafe. During the summer months the park comes alive with a full calendar of cultural events including open air theatre, a book festival and the Nomad Cinema.
