From the team behind Tonight Josephine and Blame Gloria, The Lost Alhambra in Leicester Square has been revived after nearly 100 years and stays open long after the pubs have shut. Originally opened in 1854, The Alhambra theatre of Variety was a popular music hall on Leicester Square. It became the model for Parisian music halls, staging circus attractions alongside popular ballets. Once the ballerinas finished their performance they would go to the bar beneath the stage to flirt, eat oysters and drink Champagne. Now the spirit of the bar has been revived on the same spot, with cocktails like the Pisco Inferno cocktail served in a disco ball, Dip & Flip burgers with gravy-soaked and cheese-topped buns and a dance floor made for flirting and partying until 3am.
