The team behind the Grand Union bars have now ventured into new territory with the opening of Trade Union. Located in Wapping, the unique venue is spread over a huge space - more than 6,000 square foot - and brings together coffee, cocktails and pizza as well as haircuts and flowers. A playground for grown-ups, it's a vibrant hub for local workers - there are charging points throughout - weekend brunchers and nightlife devotees, with a seasonally changing cocktail bar, speciality Vagabond coffeehouse and Bushwick & Co. pizza counter, serving sourdough pizzas with artisanal toppings and New York Italian-inspired dishes. Adding to that, visitors can get their hair cut or beard trimmed at the Drakes of London barber and pick up some flowers at the Maua London florist.
