Visitor Information
Formerly serving Indian cuisine, Anakana has switched to offering Thai street-food although the d?cor remains as vibrant and stylish as before with its spectra red theme. Anakana is divided into three areas ? the nostalgic Canteen (restaurant/eatery), the slick Lounge and the dimly-lit Piya Piya Bar. The eatery and lounge menus showcase Thai food with a Chinese twist and the cocktails stick close to their Asian roots with ingredients like ginger and lemongrass. Wines are at acceptable prices and there is a sufficient selection of by-the-glass wines. Anakana's foray into Thai cuisine is agreeable with most but service ranges from excellent to less-than-stellar.
