Located in the heart of Mayfair, a few steps away from some of London's most elegant shops, C London (which used to be known as Cipriani) is well known for its celebrity clientele. People watching takes priority over the food which, to summarise the lengthy menu, relies on traditional and classic Italian dishes. The owners of C London also own the legendary Harry's Bar in Venice and some of the classic dishes are recreated here. The interiors have a timeless elegance and the atmosphere is buzzing with diners gossiping over which celebs they can spot. It's pricey but that's what you pay for the chance - just the chance - of sitting next to Elton John.
