Franklins in East Dulwich was set up in November 1999 and, over the years it has built up a reputation as a solid, reliable local restaurant, described as, "an exemplary neighbourhood restaurant" by Jay Rayner in the Observer. The private Dining Room downstairs is available for dinner parties of up to 25 people. Next door, Franklins Farm Shop at 155 Lordship Lane, sells everything from fairy cakes to fruit and vegetables fresh from farms in Kent, as well as cheeses and restaurant standard meals to take home.
