One of London's classic curry houses, Noor Jahan 2 is located between Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations. Convenient and popular, this restaurant has attracted high-profile clientele such as Damien Hirst, Jeremy Clarkson and Tony Blair, and the unassuming blue and gold themed restaurant is famous for its punchy curries and friendly service. The lemon walls and slate-blue chairs and plush carpets add the upmarket atmosphere, and Noor Jahan 2 is often host to a number of business dinners and private celebrations. Highlights from the menu include the Tandoori lamb chops marinated in yoghurt, ginger, malt vinegar and royal cumin; the Achari chicken made with lemon juice, fennel, mustard seeds and red chillies; and the classic Goan fish curry made with coconut cream.
