From the north end of Marylebone High Street, Orrery has been offering traditional French cuisine since 1997. Originally designed by Sir Terence Conran, it has undergone a complete refurbishment by interior designers Sagrada in celebration of their 21st anniversary in early 2018. The food is extremely good, putting small but unusual twists on classic North European favourites; the fish mains are particularly special. The sommelier is certainly a helpful, friendly man and he needs to be with a wine list that's huge but full of excellent bottles. There's also a huge selection of cheeses to round off your meal. The tasting menu which offers a number of courses and wines to accompany them is a customer-friendly innovation that works brilliantly and represents good value.
