Pidgin, a Michelin starred modern British restaurant in Hackney, opened in July 2015 as the next step for James Ramsden and Sam Herlihy's Secret Larder supper club. Serving a weekly changing set four-course menu Pidgin favourites include Galician dairy cow with lobster, pommes sarladaises and charred lettuce and cod, fried enoki, fermented jerusalem artichoke and cep oil. In almost two years the kitchen hasn't repeated a dish from its weekly changing menu and in October 2016 Pidgin was awarded its first Michelin star. Don't leave without visiting the loos - Pidgin's storm bathrooms are a talking point with their dramatic murals and tempest soundtrack.
