After a sudden and short-lived closure in summer 2017, the Princess Victoria is back with new owners Tom Peake, Mark Reynolds and Nick Fox who run Three Cheers Pub Co, a collection of handsome London pubs including The Abbeville , The Avalon , The Bolingbroke and The Rosendale . T hankfully this old Victorian gin palace on Uxbridge Road, proudly serving the community for almost 200 years, is back in business with over 100 gins and 40 beers on offer. Known for its pub grub - chef Nigella Lawson and food writer Anthony Bourdain were fans before it closed - that culinary tradition continues with a British-inspired menu of scotch eggs, British charcuterie, puff pastry pies and pizzas. In summer, a courtyard garden is just the spot for outdoor drinking and dining.
