London restaurant Taste of India has been a favourite of local Islington diners since its opening in 1987. Consistently providing a welcoming, family friendly atmosphere and quality curry house food, Taste of India does exactly what it says on the tin - or rather, over the door. The modern surroundings, comfortable and spacious, are set off with carefully chosen Indian traditional music, creating the ideal backdrop for the authentic Indian food. The Taste of India chef, originally from Bangladesh, has more than 25 years in the catering industry, proudly perfecting the restaurant's always popular menu throughout his time at the helm here. Recommended by local press including Islington Gazette and Camden New Journal as well as boasting a listing in the Good Food Guide, the Taste of India restaurant is one of the most reliably good restaurants in the Islington area, providing consistently delicious food at reasonable prices, accompanied by slick, professional service.
