The Maynard Arms, a family pub since 1851, re-opened in November 2016 with a newly designed bar area, 70 cover dining room to the rear, and re-designed garden with heated terrace. The menu is a gastropub style food offering complete with bar menu and Sunday roasts. Chesterfield sofas, intimate booths and a wood clad bar help create a relaxed atmosphere and a cosy place to enjoy a pint. Craft beers on tap include Camden Hells, Neck Oil and Estrella, offered alongside bottled beers, spirits and wine by the glass. Food wise there are small plates of crispy squid, miso glazed rabbit and pickled red cabbage while mains bring charter pie filled with chicken, ham, mushrooms and leeks and you can't beat a traditional roast on a Sunday.
